Master of Thoughts

By Mariachi Sugar Skull

A Metal Anthem

Faster than a horse
Terrifying lightening
Enraged like a phantom house
He’s half man and half ghost

Master of thoughts I’m pulling your chains
Twisting your words and smashing your face
Blinded by me, you can’t see the flames
Just call my name, ’cause I’ll hear you encase

My soul
Master
Master
Just call my name, ’cause I’ll hear you encase

My soul
Master
Master

7 is the number of lightening

A wicked brick nestled somewhere in time
A dark wind – no warnings, no signs
Judgment day and the a scary house arrives
Eventually, they all commit crimes

The face went SMACK, there was no use turning back
‘Cause I just had to see, was the lightening watching me?
In the mist the words twist
Was all this swell, or just some kind of hell?

7 is the number of lightening

Is it the end, my friend?
Master you’re going ’round the bend
Half man and half ghost
No, no, please, no
7 … 7

This post was inspired recently by Kaizen artist, Jennifer Donohoe Killby’s canvas title, “Mariachi Sugar Skull,” (which is gorgeous, btw). In addition to admiring her work, I commented this was the name of my new metal band. She asked for a link.

And now you’re caught up.

I created a front and back cover using content from various My Photoartistic Life content. The back cover includes credits to the models and artists. I created “The Master of Thoughts” using this website. I made a few tweaks to the lyrics and used phrasing for the other songs on the album. I envision the last song as a 7 minute balls to the wall metal instrumental that grinds to a halt. There might be an explosion.

I don’t know how often I’ll create these fake album covers, but it was a crapload of fun to create everything about this. Who knows? This could be a series of all-girl bands of many genres…

I like where this is going.

Stay tuned!
