Hi ho my lovelives.  2016 is shaping up to be a big year for my art.  My summer exhibition of Zeus’ Women; I’ve sold more pieces in the first 6 months of 2016 since I re-opened my Etsy shop; and now, my art has been published!

As I mentioned in a previous Minimalist Planner Preview, my art goal for 2016 was to get published. I’ve been submitting art to Cloth Paper Scissors art challenges and have been trying to find a theme to submit work to various Somerset publications.  Several months ago, I received an email out of the blue from Anastasia Yakupova, who found my posts on Instagram. She invited me to participate in a book she was working on about female artists around the world. I sent her some photos, answered a few questions, a short bio.  I can’t say I forgot about it, but I figured it would be a loooong time before I heard back.  So I plugged along and last week, she messaged the artists that the book was published!

My copy of the book arrived today. It is a beautiful book. I’ve flipped through the pages and am amazed at the beautiful art and company I’m in.  I can’t wait to dive into each of the women’s stories.

If you’re interested, the book is available in paperback and Kindle versions: Creative Women Worldwide.

Follow your dearest dream, my friend. Who knows where it will take you?
